Join VEC!

VEC members receive all services at no cost or for reduced fees, and may vote in board elections and member meetings. The VEC membership year begins in January, but new members are welcome to join at any time; dues will be prorated on a quarterly basis. Sliding-scale dues are based on company/organization size. Please review the membership categories and dues schedule below to determine appropriate category and fee.

Apply by telephone: Call (802) 485-2455 with application information; pay by credit card. You will receive a payment receipt by mail.

Apply by mail: Print, fill out, and return the application form (click to view PDF form - if you do not have the FREE Adobe Reader, click here); pay by check or credit card.

Request hard-copy application information and forms: Contact VEC at vec@norwich.edu or (802) 485-2455 if you prefer to have materials mailed to your street address.

Membership Categories

Business: open to any business offering products or services which improve the condition of the natural environment, provided that business has Vermont has its primary place of business and is incorporated in Vermont.

Public Agency: open to any agency, department, branch, or instrumentality of state or federal government located in Vermont.

Academic: open to any institution of higher education that is located in Vermont and provides environment-related programs or courses.

Organizational: available to non-profit organizations which are incorporated in Vermont and are pursuing missions compatible with VEC’s activities.

Affiliate: available to companies without Vermont offices, whose primary activities are not directly environment-related, or which do not otherwise meet standard membership criteria. Affiliate membership includes all standard membership services and rights except voting rights in board elections or membership meetings.

Sponsorship

Sponsorship helps VEC deliver its services and grow Vermont’s Green Valley. In addition to standard member services, sponsors receive prominent listing and placement of company logo on VEC’s Website, display and promotional materials, and other communications. See fee schedule below.
